I’ve Got a Delta Blues Heart

Some men carry photographs of the places they’ve been. I carry the blues.

I’ve crossed oceans, wandered unfamiliar roads, loved a few women I probably shouldn’t have, and found myself in more trouble than good judgment would recommend.

But wherever life has taken me, the Mississippi Delta has always had a place in my music.

I’ve Got a Delta Blues Heart is about more than the blues. It’s about the miles behind you, the stories you carry, and the things that never leave your soul.

You can take the man out of the Delta, but you can’t take the Delta out of his heart.
